When was the last time you were accosted due to your ethnicity?
EVERY year, on April 15.

About 2 months ago. I was filling up my rental car for return to Hertz at Hobby Airport in Houston.
A crappy American sedan, with a black boy driving and a black boy leaning out the back window skidded up, the boy in the back threw a red slurpee at me, soaking me, while they screammed “f——g Jeoooooo” and peeled off.
It was great going though security covered in red sticky crap.
Great question, because its answer highlights the fact that there is no era, region or skin color that's immune to hateful prejudice. Thrice in my life I have been in mortal peril due to what could be referred to as my "ethnicity," and/or physical appearance:
1978 Hawai'i (a group of teenage "Mokes" {Native Hawai'ians} with a massive, constipated ringleader sneered at me "We're gonna cut your fu__in' heart out, you stinkin' haolie!" near the International Marketplace, Waikiki, Oahu.
1982 Miami FL (drunken Redneck Mafia losers in a bar in Homestead accused me of "lookin' like Satan..." over my long hair, goatee and Fu-Manchu mustache. Keep in mind, these were White guys... sort of...)
1988 South Central L.A. (a gang of hermanos in a '68 Impala "Low Rider" followed me and my then-fiancée for several convoluted left-right-left blocks before I finally shook them at a red light).
There is no skin color, racial group or social caste which has ever been immune to prejudice, or completely free from some form of slavery or other oppressive/brutal tyranny.
Weird, huh? It's enough to make you want to just stay home and oil the vast gun collection.
