A man named John Lloyd wrote to the Texas Parks and Wildlife about killing Bigfoot, and got a response, which said in part:
'An exotic animal is an animal that is non-indigenous to Texas. Unless the exotic is an endangered species then exotics may be hunted on private property with landowner consent. A hunting license is required. This does not include the dangerous wild animals that have been held in captivity and released for the purpose of hunting, which is commonly referred to as a canned hunt.'

Might wanna put away the sasquach costume this Halloween.
Assume that includes wookies too?
I know someone who is a pain and wears size 14’s. Texas is a half-hour away. Time for an office road trip!
Wookies can live, but I’m pretty sure Ewoks qualify as pests and should be treated accordingly.
What is the limit?
So, when your door gets kicked in at 2:00AM, you'll know it's the Secret Service...
LMAO!!!!
;^\
okay, cause I know of one in D.C. who might be showing up in TX at some election “rallys” this summer.
No limit on ewoks.
If in fact Bigfoot does live in Texas, it is an indigenous species, not an exotic. Nobody shipped it in; it got there of its own accord.
I understand that they are a protected species in a number of states. Apparently Texas ain’t one of ‘em. I wouldn’t want to be the first to drag a dead one I shot into the Fish & Game Commission, though!
Does it taste like chicken?
Sounds like a lot of government double-talk. Why didn’t they just say “Yes” or “No”??
That response sounds like New Jersey talking - not Texas.
.................What you say?!
I heard coyotes brought it across the border.
So you can kill a vastly more endangered bigfoot (if it exists) but you can’t shoot a plentiful African Ibex that has a bum leg?
Upside Down we are!!!
Killing sasquach.
If you think the Trayvon/Zimmerthing is out of control, wait until some local Bubba brings one in to his local taxidermist.
The tree huggers, whale lovers, EPA, Forest Service and dept of interior come out in force.
Sadly, I believe somebody NEEDS to shoot and kill a Bigfoot. Maybe it is a remnant of Homo Giganticus or some unknown branch of humanity, but the game has gone on too long.
People have argued the existence of this mystery for centuries. The lack of real physical evidence about them is astounding, when compared with thousands of sightings since at least the 1800s. Enough with the speculation.
The only way to prove their existence, definitively, is to either drag a dead one into a college medical lab (I don’t trust the feds with anything!) or else have one sit down to tea and submit to a physical.
OK, I've got one lapping up a cup of tea in my office, can you come over and do the physical now? ;-)
