You know, Santorum had a history of taking one for the team and endorsing romney earlier... but if you were a Newt supporter, like I was, I was fully expecting him to take a principled stand as the Last Conservative Standing..

Santorum was clear about the issues he was putting forth. One of Newt's was reform, and turning DC up and down, and there was a reason all the insiders hated him... they knew he wouldn't play by their rules..

So here's a question... And in the end? The GOP-e ate them all up, rolled over them like a bulldozer, and got them to go along... when some of us, to one degree or another, thought OUR candidate was the one who would finally stand up to the machine.

so, now we know..
