Kipling’s poem of the was one of my dad’s favorites. I’m flummoxed by the stupidity of the left. I think their drive toward destruction is the result of the loss of God from their minds, hearts and lives.

Don’t be flummoxed FRiend. There IS a reason for the left’s insanity.
T.S. Eliot said it well:

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don’t mean to do harm—(me: That part is arguable)— but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

I get being confounded by it all, but that’s the core of why they purposefully ignore the crumbling ruins before their very eyes.
They must maintain their ‘o-so-noble-and-caring’ self-image(s), false as it is.
