A living laboratory for our governing bodies here. Seeing our own elite's egotistical tendency to insist on "doubling down" on such failed policies, though, I'm not overly optimistic.

My pastor pointed out yesterday that the first coming of Christ was predicted in Genesis 3 and it took about 4,000 years for that to be fulfilled.

The second coming was predicted about 2,000 years ago ....

God's timetable is not ours and that laboratory you refer to may wait a long time before the test tubes explode
