Yep, it’s “forward” with Obama. But forward to what sort of future?
I can’t help but think of Chairman Mao’s disasterous “Great Leap Forward” when Obama talks of moving “forward”. Of course, I’m sure the liberals would denounce any sort of relation of Obama’s policies to the polices of a good communist such as Chairman Mao.
On a tangential topic, I bet Chairman Mao is turning in his grave, to see how China has embraced some free market reforms in recent years. Would Chairman Mao recognize or approve of today’s China?????
