Not sure which bigots you're talking about but I assure you our ancestors all signed onto the Peace of Westphalia and that made religious hate a private matter ~ that states would no longer fight wars on account of accumulated religious grievances.

So, you want somebody to go out there and SUPPRESS our human rights as delivered to us over the deaths of tens of millions of Europeans back in the 1600s?

Are you serious?

Oh, I’m not gonna start naming names, they know who they are, and they have gone unchecked for many years.

…the Peace of Westphalia and that made religious hate a private matter

Actually the Peace of Westphalia arranged truce between Lutherans and Roman Catholics but left other sects such as the Anabaptists unprotected and subject to vicious oppression resulting in a substantial migration of the German Anabaptists, Mennonites, Amish etc to Pennsylvania and down into Virginia beginning at the turn of the 18th century.

Many of them followed the same path as the Pilgrims had a century earlier seeking refuge first in Holland and then going on to the New World.
