I said there are no absolutes in religion because it is based on faith. Since faith requires a belief based on someones words without evidence to back it up, it doesn ‘t make it a fact. since there is no factual information it can not be discussed logicaly, because logicaly, there are no facts.

LOL. Might as well give up, because there is no way you'll win that argument. Most people know what you mean, that religion is based on faith and it is not something that one can definitively prove. But, some people think that statement only applies to other religions, not their own - and they will never concede such a thing.

Logically, there can be no way of determining if there are absolutes or not. That determination is an opinion, not a fact.

Even science has a philosophical base and is taken on faith.

Are you absolutely sure of this statement and by what measure of standard do you measure by to determine this?

(Of, of course...there are no "absolutes in religion" except Eastforker's religious absolute that there are no absolutes...Eastforker's single absolute, based upon his religious worldview, is the only one allowed!)
