You can figure her pension at a minimum of $100k. Who pays for this mess? Students via tuition...who will still be paying thirty years from now...which is a sad part about this story.

She's 47 years old and is invested in her pension because she's been with the university for 30 years?

Something doesn't jibe here.

Of course, these hypocritical capitalist administrators do things differently within the enclaves of socialist higher education.

Diane Leite, 47...With 30 years at the university...

Might be a silly point, but she started working at Berkley at age 17?

Her real crime was carrying on a heterosexual affair.

At least it was a heterosexual relationship. That was a surprise. And unexpected!

Hmmm...30’yeras....at age 47. Unfortunately I think I’m beginning to see how some of OUR public employees may lay claim to generous 6 figure salaries and pensions.

If the “subordinate” was a woman, they doubtless would have made this lady Chancellor.

Records show that Caniezo's pay grew from $57,864 in late 2008 to $120,000 in 2010.

That's a heckuva raise!

If her love interest was a woman she’d be in the clear.
