Many Cubans,if not experiencing Castro style communism first hand have been told the stories by parents, relatives and friends what to expect from communist rule and they want no part of it.They differ from the standard experience of other Hispanics.
Truth is Marco Rubio is a true American legislator first. He always puts God and country first not that he won't help Hispanics if the opportunity arises. But he won't shy away from helping anyone if the opportunity arises.One of the great characteristics about him as a potential VP he has universal appeal, IMHO. Plus charisma X 10. Sarah Palin and Rubio have the Charisma necessary to make it to the top one day.
He totally has the things you mentioned. I turned it on out of curiosity but the guy (yeah, I know he’s too young for me) just mesmerized me. I sat and watched his entire interview, neglecting my dog, neglecting making coffee ... I dunno.
He certainly has what we used to call “It.”
Whether he should be the veep choice or not I don’t know, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he is president some day.
