The One Thing The Media Isn't Telling You About The Blind Chinese Activist (Chen Guangcheng)

Obviously the story of Chen Guangcheng, a blind activist who fears for his life at the hands of China's government is compelling.

His solitary work and his disability make him seem doubly courageous and vulnerable while standing against the Chinese government.

But in a nearly 1,900 word article about Guangcheng, the Washington Post reporters never tell readers exactly what Guangcheng protests about the Chinese state.

In another enormous article from the New York Times, the crux of his opposition to the Chinese government isn't mentioned until paragraph 19.

In the Washington Post's first major article about Guangcheng this year, he was described simply as a "blind activist lawyer."

But what is his activism all about?

These articles constantly use terms like "human rights dissident" or "advocate for the disabled" to describe him. But that doesn't really tell you anything.

The truth is: Guangcheng is an anti-abortion activist. His main opposition to the Chinese government is its "one-child policy" and its forced sterilizations.

Basically he's pro-life.

The “advocate for the disabled” aspect comes into play when you consider that there is a strong bias towards eliminating unhealthy children in China or preventing “disabled” people from conceiving children.

Said it a few days ago....He's pro-life....that's why we're shafting him.

We'll probably make him sign a secret agreement that he will NEVER speak or write on any subject while here in the US.

I figure the Dynamic Duo, Zer0 and Hillary, might do China’s dirty work for them. That is why they came to an agreement so quickly. This do-gooder rubs both sides the wrong way. I expect him to have an “accident” when he gets to the US and the attention is off of him.

Welcome to your new home in America. Guess what? We kill off our offspring for a novel reason: because they would clash with our lifestyle and we would be forced to support them if they weren’t washed away like sand from between our painted toenails. Get out your wallet, because in short order you’ll be required to pay to offer it to our slovens for free.

Meet the new political prisoner in the Land of the Free.

I am CERTAIN that this enters into Hillary Clinton’s calculus as to what to do about this guy. I bet the hold up is her team trying to position this as something other than involving his opposition to abortion.

We won’t hear any mention of this if he is indeed freed, I am positive of that.

When questioned on it, the MSM will claim it is irrelevant and then claim that he isn’t really anti-abortion, just against the one-child policy, as if there is a great distinction.

They’ve got real brass, shrieking about how they’re the party of women, all while handing over to a Police State a man trying to prevent the killing of women.

I find that amazing.

I’ve been harping on the fact that Chen is aggressively anti-abortion. It’s remarkable to me that so many posters to CNN and other sites actively oppose any help for Chen. Typical of the posts is, “We don’t need another handicapped Chinese on welfare here, leave him where he is.”. I don’t know how many of these posts are anti immigration and how many are pro abortion disguised as anti immigration.

More liberal, commie, double-speak.

She didn’t “authorize” Harvard to classify her as minority.

She just checked the box claiming minority status knowing that would automatically give her preferential status as a minority.

Aren’t you posting the above in the wrong thread?

This thread is about Chen Guangcheng, not Elizabeth Warren.

Thank you for posting this. I am appalled by the brutality of the people (here in this country, as well as the Communist thugs in China) who are opposing him.

The thought of the thugs almost destroys my belief in human goodness. Then the thought of Chen Guangcheng restores my faith again.

May God protect and defend this profoundly good man. Angels of God, come to his aid. People of God, rescue him.
