Jim the convention is not until the last week in August. I have still not voted in the primary and neither have you. Anything could happen between now and the end of August and I am not going to sit by and surrender while there is still a snowball's chance in Hell that ANYBODY BUT ROMNEY might still get the nomination. There could be a scandal or Romney could decide not to run or he might pick some left wing liberal as a running mate.
I am not going to give in to any truce until there is no fight left in me. By his own admission the only tie Romney has to the Republican Party is that both Republican and Romney begin with an "R". We need to realize that if Romney gets the nomination and wins, then the first opportunity we will have to actually get a conservative president (one who will pick conservative constitutional judges and actually live by the constitution) will be in 2020.
Sorry Jim, but you and I part company on this one. I will continue the good fight. I WILL NOT SURRENDER!
Nor will I. We fight on!! But FR and the tea party must survive to continue the fight. Our energies must be directed at the enemy and not at each other. The truce is amongst ourselves.
