This news story proves the adage that truth is indeed stranger than fiction.
It seems that a US Department of Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement intelligence officer has been embroiled in serious financial impropriety.
But wait, that isnt even HALF the story. It gets much worse.
This intelligence officer is a former colonel in the Jordanian Air Force named Ahmed Abdallat.

Obama Overrides Congress, To Send Millions in Aid To Palestinian Authority
Obama Overrides Congress, Signs Waiver To Send $192 Million To Palestinian Authority
US President Barack Obama has lifted a ban on financial aid to the Palestinian Authority. Obama stated that the aid was important to the security interests of the United States.
The US Congress froze a $192 million aid package to the Palestinian Authority after its president, Mahmoud Abbas, defied US pressure and sought to attain UN endorsement of Palestinian statehood last September. The presidential waiver means that aid can now be delivered.
Now get this U.S. won’t recognise his homeland Palestine as a country
An illegal immigrant with a 12-year criminal history and 35 arrests under his belt cannot be deported back to Palestine because the U.S. will not recognise his homeland as a country.
Sofyan Eldani, who lives in Alabama, was arrested earlier this week after police discovered crack cocaine in his vehicle.
When officers reviewed the 45-year-olds criminal record, they were shocked to discover that he had been arrested 35 times over a period of 12 years
Eldani has at least nine convictions, including four felonies, and has served six months in an Alabama prison for receiving stolen property, according to the Birmingham News.
His long list of arrests includes assault, fraudulent checks, criminal mischief, resisting arrests, reckless endangerment, shoplifting, burglary, drug possession, failure to appear, probation violation, possession of a drug paraphernalia and DUI.
But when Hueytown Police Chief Chuck Hagler contacted Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials they said the convicted felon could not be deported because the U.S. does not recognise Palestine his homeland as a country.
Obama recognizes Palestinian Authority enough to give them millions, but does not recognize the country when it comes time to deport illegal aliens
