PPP is a Democrat polling outfit so adjust those numbers by 10 to 15 points.

What is the matter with us Americans? Three years ago, we (as a country) decided to see what it would be like to bang our head on the wall. Now, Today, after 3 1/2 years of CONSTANT banging our collective (sic) heads against our collective (sic!) walls, we are deciding, by 8 percentage points, to continue banging our collective (yep, dittoes) heads against our walls?
One of the founders was exactly right when he said - a republic can be sustained only while there is virtue in its populace.
Gallup and Ras are really the only two I look at any more.
He *might* win both.Lots and lots of *very* well paid and *very* loyal government "workers" live in VA and lots of "progressives" have moved to the Raleigh-Durham area from NY,NJ,MA,VT,etc.

Many here on FR believed exactly the same thing about PA, VA, NC and OH back in 2008. The polls just HAD to be wrong.. plus there was always that wonderful wild card of the "Bradley Effect."
