Bedoun (Arabic: بِدون ‎, sometimes bedoon, bidūn, bidoun) are stateless persons, from the Arabic bidūn jinsiyya (Arabic: بدون جنسية‎, without nationality).[1] The term is used mostly in Kuwait & UAE, where the large bedoun population has been a continuing problem,[2] and Bahrain. Although most of the bedoun are Bedouin, the two terms have different meanings.

They are still called ‘BEDOONS’ in that country... for being left stateless.
