Sadly, the extent I know about it is watching the movie “Officer and a Gentleman”. But that was Navy I think, but the Marines are part of the Navy? Is this what Ben is doing?

I’m not much more informed than you - the PLC is 100% Marine. I think there is some cross platform in the aviation piece. I did read in your link that NROTC is a track to Marine officer.

I do know the Navy is a reliable transport resource for the warriors at the tip of the spear.

I only MINIMALLY watched Officer and a Gentleman-—they hose up the facts so much it was not worth my time...BUT that movie was about Naval Officer Candidate School...in those days it was in Newport Rhode Island...also known as “knife and fork school”...the Officer program for the Marines includes some “fun” each May/June at Quantico called “Operation Bulldog”...
