Years ago, my brother got kicked out of Bob Jones Academy for running a gambling casino in his dorm room. Didn’t whine. Didn’t declare that he was “stalked and harassed.” Didn’t claim sexual abuse.
He just moved on to Eastern Mennonite Academy — where he was promptly kicked out for running a gambling casino in his dorm room and requesting that the daily chapel open its service with his favorite soon: “Lucky Devil.”
Again, he didn’t throw a hissy fit. Just left the school and went on to become a very successful TV and film producer.
Maybe the sensitive little sweetheart at BJU should follow suit.
Why didn’t he go to schools that would have appreciated his “skill set”?
Did he consider going to UNLV? If it is like everywhere else in Las Vegas I would suspect they have slot machines in the dorm rooms.
One reason why college is so expensive is that we expect they provide everything from an education to a social life to surrogate parenting for the students. Just teach the classes and treat the students like adult customers instead of children needing to be molded. I would bristle at a place like Bob Jones, not because they are so much against what I believe but rather I would hate their presumption that they should have the power to tell me how to live just because I am paying them to take some classes there.
Totally LOL. Expelled for running a casino! LOL
