Barack Obama has already held more re-election fundraising events than all five Presidents since Richard Nixon combined, according to figures to be published in a new book.
Obama is also the only president in the past 35 years to visit every electoral battleground state in his first year of office.
The figures, contained a in a new book called The Rise of the Presidents Permanent Campaign by Brendan J. Doherty, due to be published by University Press of Kansas in July, give statistical backing to the notion that Obama is more preoccupied with being re-elected than any other commander-in-chief of modern times.

He does pretty well in the fundraising dept for a man that says he’s against the rich.
Pathological liar.
This POS is nothing but a suit and teleprompter. A true community organizer and corner barker.
This is all part of his laser-like focus on jobs.
I’m sure the US MSM will get right on this story.

Just a humble opinion....but I’ve kinda felt he has been in campaign mode for the entire four years. There might have been twenty days a year that he acted “executive”, but the vast majority of appearances are all geared as campaign-mode.
I would even say that a large number of democrats who were Democrats in name only and doing marginally well throughout their region...are now mostly out of a job.....because of his continual campaign mode operation.
Obama was in campaign mode at his Inauguration.
Doing more fund raising than the previous five Presidents is quite an accomplishment, considering that one of them was Bill Clinton, who began the tradition of permanent fund raising.
Of course, Obama doesn’t have to actually do anything. He comes in late, reads the same speech off the teleprompter—usually something about how long it is taking him to mop up after his stupid predecessor—has a fancy meal if he feels like it, and then leaves.
Once a rabble-rouser, always a rabble-rouser. When roused, the rabble are too ignorant to figure out they are getting screwed by the rouser. As an effeminate gay, offended black Muslim, Obama knows the necessity of agitating the radicals into a militant fervor. Never give them time to think away from the crowd.
He was a failed community organizer at that, a failed senator, and an equally failed president.
He wrecks everything he touches. The only thing that surpasses his arrogance is his ignorance.
Hussein is a stain — worse than the Bent One.
“Barack Obama has already held more re-election fundraising events than all five Presidents since Richard Nixon combined, according to figures to be published in a new book.”
That’s quite amazing, especially considering there have been six presidents after Nixon and before Obama.
They must not be counting Ford as. ‘Re-election’
Given he works so hard at raising campaign funds, he doesn’t have much to show for it, given he still has to cheat (like he did in 2008 with turning off CC address verification).
After he won the lottery {election} every day is a play day for him and Michelle.
Note record for last three years.
I guess he was at least smart enough to notice that he could simply buy the presidency with a campaign budget unequalled in history.
So he’s just going to do that again. And, lacking a viable opponent, succeed.
The first day he started to campaign, was January 21, 2009 and he has not stopped since
President Bush just completed on Saturday a 3 day Bike Ride with wounded troops through the Palo Alto Canyon National Park near Amarillo, TX. Can you imagine that arrogant, lazy lying pos occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave doing that, after he is out of Office? I can’t
I just checked his schedule. It’s not even up yet
