If the SHTF, preppers will be the ones best prepared to help others. One can’t give food, water and shelter to the needy unless one has them, right? Are we supposed to just walk through life unprepared for anything beyond today? If that was the case, why even plant crops? After all, we might not even be here to harvest them. No. That seems pretty foolish to me.

While it’s certainly true that God can take care of all of our needs, what makes someone think our minds and bodies aren’t the means God has given us to do so? And, again, how is someone supposed to help their brothers and sisters if they themselves are destitute?

“We’re we supposed to just walk through life unprepared for anything beyond today?”

There’s a difference between saying that I understand something and saying that I support something. For example, I understand the Norway gunman - he would be jailed (over there) for speaking out against Islam and immigration, and he would be jailed for killing people...in that case killing got him the most bang for the buck. But that sure as heck doesn’t mean I support the killings.

In this case, and maybe I read into it wrong, I saw it as frustration that a bunch of spoiled brats want protection from the militarily that they are continually trying their hardest to decimate. I can see why someone might be frustrated.
