Michelle Robinson Obama is somehow related to Jesse RObinson Jackson. His biological father is from the same South Carolina community that Michelle’s ancestors are from and she spent enough time in their home growing up that the Jackson children call her Sis.

Her father was disabled....You think that Jesse didn’t start her living off the Govenment teat until she met BO.....not hardly.

Here’s some interesting dots to connect.

BO, MO, JJ, JJ’s half brother Noah RObinson, connection to gang El Rukn; El Rukn (drugs, prostitution, murder) territory and the area the BO served as community organizer.

This is the first thing that came to mind when I read the article:

"According to the couple’s tax returns, Mrs Obama earned $51,200 (£25,700) for her work as a non-executive director on Treehouse’s board last year, on top of the $271,618 salary she was paid as a vice-president of the University of Chicago Hospitals.

"She also received 7,500 Treehouse stock options, worth a further $72,375, as she did the previous year, when she banked a $45,000 salary from the company.

"Michelle Obama is the “specifically named individual” who was able to sit on corporate boards, although she lacks the experience of Blagojevich’s wife. And notice how Michelle Obama’s position with the WAL-MART vendor helped alleviate the “financial stress” of the Obama family at a time when they were purchasing a mansion from Rezko they could not afford."

Obama Never Declared Peace Prize as Income / Deduction.

So if a lottery winner donated it all to charity, could they just leave it off their taxes? Don't think so.

“The president's 2009 income does NOT include the $1.4 million he got for winning the Nobel Peace Prize, the White House statement said, because Obama donated it all to 10 charities.”

And he never mentions what charities got the money!

If the O’Bammys had such big student loan debts (probably from Moochelle since the Ayers family and the Saudis picked up Barry's tuition) why would Moochelle surrender her law license shortly after graduation thus crippling her ability to pay back her loans?

” I firmly believe that Osama Obama is beatable but an attitude like this can cost us dearly. It smacks of complacency...of wild overconfidence. “

You are obviously young and like words, but my attitude is just not going to be your job assignment as an attitude checker on Free Republic. You don’t know me well enough to freak out. I can often give you real reasons to do so, but this isn’t one of those.

We don’t play much hide the hiney around here. Complacency and wild over confidence smacking are not friends in the same sentence, let alone on FR, so if you must freak out in the company of attitudes among the prepared-for-most-anything crowd, freak with someone your own age.

I have come to find the spelling nit pickers similar to a cactus prick, and can’t wait until their day comes.

Spell check is just one less button to push if you don’t push it.

Thanks for the riotus snorts, chuckles and grins.

PS: I would rather deal with a mis-spell than a handle three inches long. Sheesh.

The following is a letter to the editor from the Times of Trenton, July 14, 1998. I have the author’s permission to post to rhf—and she had me correct a correction the newspaper’s typesetters had made, as well as a non-spellchecker mistake they had introduced!

The Shortcomings Spellcheck

I would like to apply fore a job as an editor of your paper. I halve a computer, and it has spellcheck, and it wood seam that this is awl I really knead.

I had originally intended too dew this last weak, but then I happened to reed my horoscope in The Times, and it said: “Put on the reigns before you lose control of everything. Of coarse, once I red this, I gnu it wood be better to weight four a more auspicious thyme.

Aye thought at first that maybe I should caul, but then I decided it mite be better to right. I truly believe that I would be a grate editor—know matter watt—rein or shine. Eye wood make accuracy inn spelling the mane ingredient of my editorial rain. Just to prove my hart is in the rite place, I maid sure this letter was perfect—I ran it threw Spellcheck.

I really due wont this job, and I no I could bee a reel asset, butt if yew don’t higher mi, I won’t whale.

“A simple spelling error can destroy your life! “

Before I retired, I was in a position to hire people. I read their resumes, and if I found one spelling error, they were automatically put in the “do not hire” pile. If you choose to expose your laziness and ignorance for the world to see, more power to you.

I make spelling/grammar errors too but when offered a tool to reduce them, I take it. Your unwillingness to ‘push a button’ shows me you would not go the last step in a project. A similar lack of detail is what cost the lives of a number of astronauts in the Challenger disaster. I worked on that shuttle and it pained me to see the death and waste of money that resulted from a failure to understand the need to follow up.

Here is a poem dedicated to your "TOOL".

Ode the the Spell Chequer

Prays the Lord for the spelling chequer
That came with our pea sea!
Mecca mistake and it puts you rite
Its so easy to ewes, you sea.

I never used to no, was it e before eye?
(Four sometimes its eye before e.)
But now I've discovered the quay to success
It's as simple as won, too, free!

Sew watt if you lose a letter or two,
The whirled won't come two an end!
Can't you sea? It's as plane as the knows on yore face
S. Chequer's my very best friend

I've always had trubble with letters that double
"Is it one or to S's?" I'd wine
But now, as I've tolled you this chequer is grate
And its hi thyme you got won, like mine.

.

Before I retired, I was in a position to hire people. I read their resumes, and if I found one spelling error, they were automatically put in the “do not hire” pile.

What if the company they used to work for was a deliberate misspelling of some word?

If you choose to expose your laziness and ignorance for the world to see, more power to you.

LOL!

Lighten up. This thread has been hijacked!

Charitable giving deductions are limited to 50% of income.

So it would be interesting to know what the declared income was AND the amount of tax paid.

It’s also notable that the Obamas didn’t claim deductions for student loans on any of those years, most likely because they made too much money to qualify for the student loan deduction.

How about if the loans were acquired for Obama as a "foreign" student? Would he withhold filing forms that could come back to bite him in the backside?

Loans for international students studying in the United States

Snip: Sallie Mae International offers several student loan programs for students:

who are not U.S. citizens and

who are attending a U.S. college or university in short-term study abroad programs or full-time enrollment, toward a full degree.

I don’t think Obama is going to get much of the youth vote this time around.

I agree. This socialist obama will lose in a landslide!

MSM people have to live in the real world when they go home.

The hostility toward Obama is unavoidable, even in their world. Relatives probably curse them out when they try to defend him.

“What a pair of liars!”

Indeed, I guess when you lie so much and so carelessly you begin to forget about the believably of your own lies.
