He was elected to serve the United States. He has stated in this that his loyalties lay elsewhere, and by this, he has disqualified himself from holding his current, or any future, US office. He is not worthy of representing Americans or pursuing American interests, either domestically or with other nations. In fact, he is a threat to America.
In coming out like this, he is only doing so for one of two reasons: either anticipating that he will be named Romney’s Vice President; or he hopes to be made head of one of these internationalist organizations, such as the IMF.
In 1972 Strobe Talbott, along with his friends Robert Reich (a fellow Rhodes Scholar) and David E. Kendall, rallied to his friends Bill Clinton and Hillary Clinton to help them in their Texas campaign to elect George McGovern president of the United States.
After leaving government, he was for a period Director of the Yale Center for the Study of Globalization. He is currently the president of the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, an anti-American organization, populated with former officials who now openly seek to undermine American authority and power to the advantage of internationalist organizations.
The former Soviet Foreign Intelligence Service operative Sergei Tretyakov claimed that SVR (Foreign Intelligence Service) considered Talbott a source of intelligence information and classified him as “a special unofficial contact”, although “he was not a Russian spy.”

Sounds to me like he's defending the U.S. saying we didn't start these institutions for some self-serving purpose but to spread peace and prosperity.
But that probably won't matter to the lynch mobs on FR. They're worse than the Trayvon crowd for finding someone guilty without even hearing the other side. Tiresome.
