THE REBELLION IS ON!!

I hope mittens is surrounded by conservatives that will make it difficult for him to put forth any liberal agenda he may be planning. We need House and Senate, so we conservatives have our work cutout. We can do this.

Jim,

I hope you reconsider.

We MUST defeat Obama.

If it’s Romney, so be it. If it’s Romney’s dog, so be it.

Please help push this socialist out of office.

I'm not going to campaign for this phony empty suit. Not going to cheerlead for a man with an abortionist, homosexualist, statist record. Cannot possibly vote for him. But y'all gotta do what y'all gotta do. I'm not going to stand in your way.

I'm not going to stand in their way either but, they did give me a new tagline.

The fault, dear Brutus, is not in our stars, But in ourselves...

The sad fact is that a couple of generations of bread, circuses and government education have produced an electorate that is well represented by the current candidates.

May God forgive us.

Jim.

I am not a conspiracy type person by any stretch of the imagination but this whole deal with Romney has me convinced the blue-bloods in the GOP have had the primaries manipulated from the beginning and are now sitting back laughing at conservatives.

The GOP-e imbeciles must be stopped in some way or the United States will collapse as they are no different than the Democrats. I even think they prefer the company of Democrats over any true conservative.

Just my opinion.

Please keep those donations coming in folks. No matter who gets the nomination, or who gets elected, we conservatives are going to need FR more than ever to hold their feet to the fire!!

Amen, and thank you Jim Robinson and team!

We have to get over this hump as a lot of conservatives don’t do rebellion. Freepers, please donate twice usual while FR rides this out.

If the progressive Mittens gets in power with GOP-e, he will screw conservatives to the wall with socialism on steroids - more new and improved socialized medicine, homo indoctrination and State forced p.c. on churches, globalist warming, Agenda 21, molestation at the airports, trains, buses and public events, gun control, etc. He will have no opposition in power to stop him. He will deepen the power of GOP-e.

The lessor of two evil conservatives who are mad at FR for not going along, will know when it happens if Mittens gets elected.

However, why would Americans vote for the lessor of two evil global socialists? Americans will elect the real McCoy if the choice is global socialist Republican or global socialist Democrat. It’s why socialists are supporting Romney’s nomination. GOP-e have the same agenda and mentality as the Democrats’ socialist and the constitution is not in the mix beyond “progressing” beyond it’s limitations and rights.

It’s all seller and thief inside job and stealing of the American bank account and check book, ie. identity thievery of the tax payer by the IRS and all that. The IRS does not care about the economy, by the way, it just “does its job”.

The whole China trade, GOP-E, Romney and Chinese counterfeit job is identity theft. Obama does the thieving, the identity of the taxpayer is hijacked and stolen for such misdeeds, war and enslavement is declared world wide, and the GOP-E aims to enforce the sell of their crap because they do not want their crap whore sale to go down.

WAtch it, ROmney and OBama, GOP-E and Communist, a marriage made in hell with f@gs trying to sell this as marriage.

Conservative is the only way, I do not care which side is more popular. Losers are losers and will be losers.

I don’t usually look to Tucker Carlson for wisdom. But he made one observation recently that was very right. There are 315 million people in the United States. Only one of them besides Obama has signed an individual mandate to buy health insurance into law. And that’s the one who the GOP picked to run against Obama.

Mitt Romney vs. Barack Obama...

The answer to the question, what happens when an unelectable force meets an ineligible object?

I agree that in a normal year Romney would be at the bottom of the list, however the Republican party did not offer anyone serious. All the others only polled worse than Romney. The Republican party is not the Tea Party. The majority of Republicans just want the Democrats out. So they chose the one who would most likely (to them) accomplish that. What was needed was a Reagan and what the Republicans got was a bunch of jokers to choose from, all of them very questionable for one reason or another. I didn’t like any of them, am not going to waste a vote, am not going to sit it out, and will vote for Romney and hope he turns out to be a suprise but am confident he’s not as bad as the community organizer types who are running things now.

I’m not going to vote left or lefter either.
The alternatives aren’t that much better. Since I live in the Soviet Socialist State of New York, even the conservative party is mostly democrats and liberals who think they are conservative.
This is going to be a tough election. I’ll try to vote the best I can. I guess that means all incumbents out, no matter which party they are.

“The people never give up their liberties but under some delusion." Edmund Burke

This delusion Burke spoke of has been the historically dominant theme of mankind throughout the ages: if there's a problem, government will fix it. Freedom has been the rare exception. Even now, although it is clear through history up to the present that socialism is an utter failure and disaster, nevertheless, societies, including American society, continue to gravitate toward it.

Why? Why would people in the freest country in the world throw away what others (immigrants and patriots) have lost their lives to have here? Well, I’ve come across a couple videos of Milton Friedman which I think shed light on this question and, IMO, well worth the time to listen. Links below.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgyQsIGLt_w&feature=related
(@ 2:35 – “Private enterprise and the free market has no press agents whereas the government and the Federal Reserve Board has a great many press agents.”)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RzGHvlltlE
(@ 17:00 – “We didn’t live in a paradise, but there’s no period in human history when the ordinary man had as great an improvement in his lot in life as in the 19th century in the United States when the government was of trivial importance.
@20:22 – “The maintenance of a free society is a very difficult and complicated thing and it requires a self-denying ordinance of the most extreme kind. It requires a willingness to put up with temporary evils on the basis of the subtle and sophisticated understanding that if you step in to try to do something about them you’ll make matters worse.
