“Rossie Blinson, a 21-year-old college student”

“John Weber, 19, understands this.”

So where are the kids the headline mentioned? These are adults.

“It has been reported that the Labor Department will be hiring thousands of Inspectors to police the farms.”

Outside of a few, nobody cares about this. Thats the brilliance of the way progressives are doing things. Very slowly over the decades,,,drip, drip, drip. A little here, a little there. It’s so far under the radar people think it’s always been like this, so they aren’t shocked and don’t care. Think the outcry of the knuckle dragging, mouth breathing, inbred people in flyover country will be listened to? Not a chance.

Every so often I get asked to comment on these attacks on our way of life. I remind the askers that the people coming up with all these nanny-state rules are the same ones we didn’t like while we were growing up.

There will be a blob of slop in every pot.

There will be a blob of slop in every GOVT. APPROVED pot. If the pot doesn’t have the govt. or union label, no slop.

You have to suspect 0bama is looking to stick it to a mostly Republican demo. This administration certainly lives by the dictum “Reward your friends; punish your enemies.”

"One of their targets, especially, is Americas children. They want them as far away from their parents as they can get them."

The Obammunist's Labor Dept. found out how many farm families home school their kids. That's the real impetus behind these executive branch politically motivated regulations.

Your daughter is a rarity in this day and age. My hubby’s children (who live with his CPS worker ex-wife) need to be pryed outside and would much rather be inside. They live in a suburban area and we live in the country. They displayed this attitude from an early age due to being spoon fed with Spongebob at home.

The only bit of exercise they get is when their mother crams in the extra-curricular activities and they can socialize while on the field (phoning it in, of course)

Like you, we also live in the country. Some of her friends live in “town” but most also live in the country and all are used to being outside. Don’t get me wrong, they all love their electronics and it is often comical to watch them together sitting under a tree with their laptops, but they also enjoy wild games of tag, etc.......

Maybe the domestic drones can spy on the 4-H kids doing “unauthorized” farm tasks and fire a few Hellfire missiles as a friendly reminder.

The good news is before you get hauled to jail for having your kids do farm chores, the domestic drones spying from above will fire a few Hellfire missiles (as a friendly reminder as to who’s in charge.)

Exactly...my kids do junior rodeo here in Nevada and we don’t even have a farm. So my boy can’t help me bring in hay or stack the feed supplements? Can he help harvest the garden? Is my little girl allowed to feed the horses or muck out the corral? Freaking Congress. I’d rather pay each of these mopes a million a year to sit there and do NOTHING than to try and create the bullstuff laws they do...
