Mainstream media (MSM) may not be a perfect descriptive term, but it is widely understood and it serves an important purpose: to identify powerful leftist propagandists without sounding deranged.

"Liberal media" is not a superior descriptive term, because the MSM has nothing but contempt for classical liberalism.

I agree. I’ve always took the term mainstream modify the term “media”.

The term “liberal” was co-opted by fascist socialist “progressives” as they infiltrated the Democratic party in the early 1900’s.
