Newt is the best one left standing of the three remaining in the GOP, but you and I both know only a miracle will prevent Romney from getting the nomination, so the best Newt can realistically hope for is an offer for a VP slot. Somehow, I doubt he'll take it.

And, let's dispense with the simplistic "Vote for Newt or you hate America" routine. I'll rise above your allegations of "weakness," but will tell you this: I voted for Bush I and II, Bob Dole and John McCain, all because the alternative was far worse, and what has the GOP to show for it, but an establishment disdain for all things Tea Party? With Romney atop the GOP heap, those lines are blurred. And he's going to be crushed by Obama in November.

You KNOW barry will trash mitt, yet you sit on the sidelines supporting an opponent of NEWT. I see a defeatist attitude so the best Newt can realistically hope for is an offer for a VP slot - instead of one being thankful, grateful and SUPPORTIVE of NEWT that he's still fighting FOR America by the support of others!
