A new video released Friday shows that Lt. Col. Shalom Eisner, the commander who was dismissed from his position after an edited video showed him using force to restrain a protester, may have hit four other protesters including women riding bicycles during the same incident.
.....
It should also be noted that the video consists of two clips filmed and edited by Palestinian Authority television, a fact which may suggest it was edited, as was the original video depicting Eisner, to remove some of the protesters provocations.
The new video shows protesters arriving on bikes to confront Eisner and his soldiers. They are shown standing beside the soldiers, waving signs and calling for an end to the occupation.
One of the protesters is then shown being interviewed on the PA TV channel and saying the protesters have no intention of leaving the area. After several minutes a commotion begins and the demonstrators are shown standing in front of the soldiers, trying move towards them. It is at this point that Eisner and his men begin to use force against the provocateurs.
One soldier is shown pushing one cyclist. Eisner is then seen striking the Danish demonstrator in the face, the same incident as in the original video of him. A female demonstrator is then seen heading towards Eisner and he is shown hitting her with his rifle as well. Eisner is then shown turning to another demonstrator and hitting him with the rifle as well. The video then cuts to a later point, in which Eisner is shown using force to remove two other demonstrators. The protesters then leave, at which point the video ends.

The guy he punched was DANISH —the Danes were the only ones not to hand over Jews to Hitler.
A broken nose? Is that all? For getting up in the face of an IDF soldier? That Dane should be thankful.
And remember, it’s those very same soulless jackals whom those Danes are protesting in favor of.
The Palis are full of BS, sure, but at what point did u see the (super credulous) Danish guy, “getting in the face” of the IDF guy..?
You saw that...?
Bull ⇒ Horns.
Italy refused, too. According to Eisner, this not-giving-over-Jews-to-Hitler all-too-credulous Dane initially attacked him and broke a bone in his hand. It might be true. It might not. I’d like to hear from someone with some film editing knowledge, and someone with knowledge of Arabic. My own is rusty and weak.
The handsome dummy was simply standing there, amidst a media-savvy phalanx of lefty provacateurs, most if not all of whom carry cameras.
They’re HOPING for exactly what hapenned —the guy strode in there and HANDED them EXACTLY the media porn they were there shopping for.
Among all the drones there, your IDF guy punched the ONE dummy he shouldn’t have —WITH THE CAMERAS ROLLING.
VERY bad judgement. How could it look worse?
I guess it could have been a child? A ridiculous stretch, sure. This looks terrible.
Do they open presents on Eid..? If so this would be the biggest one under the BomberTree. Candy is showering and boners are popping all over the Arab world.
I expect soldiers to hurt people (and do more than that). The Military should be used to kill people and break things. If you don’t want people hurt, don’t ask soldiers to play a role in the activity.
So you’re saying that soldiers are incapable of doing wrong, or that it’s wrong to assign soldiers to police duty, because they’ll kill somebody? Has anyone looked at Col. Sholem Eisner? He’s a reservist if ever there was one. Stomach out to there, probably couldn’t run a mile in four hours, let alone four minutes. This is not a professional soldier, but a reservist. Policing these podunk demonstrations is what reservists do, so if Eisner can’t handle it, maybe Gantz had the right idea. But what interests me here is the facts. Did he just lose it and start swinging at people, or was he retaliating against an assault? How does one swing an M16 with a broken finger? Which finger was broken, and how long before he chinned the Dane? What was that guy saying in Arabic? What does the film editing tell us? Come on, guys. Where are all the knowledgeable people suddenly?
i'd think policing goons would be a little below his pay grade
Like I say, he’s a reservist.
So why did this Dane decide to be different ?
So why did this Dane decide to be different?
So why did this Dane decide to be different?
Those protesters should go back to Daneland.
Yes, they should. But they won’t, and the question is how the officer in charge dealt with them; revolutionary tourists with a twisted world view, but nonetheless tourists, not combatants. Without knowing what was on the edited segments, without even conjecturing, that can’t be known. A bigger question is, why didn’t the security forces have their own video? If you know that they’ll crop together footage making you look bad, why not have footage of your own to set the record straight, that you do not doctor or edit? The camera is mightier than the gun butt.
