Agree. How anything will be allowed by the EPA will be a surprise. Developers won't even touch the brown fields of Detroit. Environmentalists are fighting lead bullets for hunting, how is all that industrial contamination going to be met. And this is Detroit so there still is the lead bullet problem :-) The real estate departments of Detroit epitomizes incompetence and corruption. There is nothing but hurdles

If you really wanted to farm in Detroit, Christmas trees, pulpwoods, and ornamentals would be the only way to go and then you would be going up against a pre existing industry here in the state.

We’ve got existing farms slowly returning to nature all over Michigan.
