There is no lunch break in the traditional sense. You eat while in service and you catch a call, you go. Or hopefully you got a buddy that will shag the call for you.

Citizens understand that coppers got to eat, but doing your taxes on the citizen dime equals bad PR. That just shows poor planning on that officer’s part.

Yes, cops are allowed a lunch break. So are Firemen.
I always my offer place in line to the uniformed cops and Firemen I encounter at restaurants, convenience and grocery stores.

As far as I know, the Post Office doesn't offer food for sale...
