You keep posting these little anti-support statements of Newt, only you never say who you support, just some sort of vague comments, like ‘I am supporting the person I think is most conservative’.

Who do you support? Would that someone be Ron Paul? And why are you afraid to come out and say who you support. Look at the posts on this thread alone, there is no doubt in anyone’s mind who these people support, one way or another.

Maybe one of the many reasons we like and support Newt is that HE HAS COURAGE.

You are too funny.

Newt has his own baggage. He is currently still on the ballot in my state and that is where my vote is going.

You still did not address my question so I will assume that you do not remember 1976 or the convention.

Newt in spite of what you think does not have courage ( or at least did not). He folded like a lousy poker player when Clinton shut down the government.

And by the by, Newt has a spotty history in terms of what he got through the House. Frankly, his willingness to compromise with Kennedy and Pelosi and Clinton I found appalling. Do I like him better than Mitt? No doubt about it.

But do not delude yourself. You can jump up and down all you want. You can hold your breath until you are blue. You can ‘righteously’ stay home this fall. Do all of that and it changes nothing.

If you do not have the delegates you will not get the nomination. Newt’s run this time around has been at best dicey. His early lackadaisical attitude, his outright arrogance in declaring himself the obvious candidate, to the slip shod way he ran how campaign.... all of those things cost him votes and delegates along the way.

None of the above matters either because in the end the goal MUST be

1)The maximum nu,her of conservatives in the HOuse and in the Senate
2) NO second term for the O
