I’ve been reading this thread, and each time I run across your posts I think “one of these is not like the others.”
The difference in your post and others who are ABO is that others point to reason and logic.
You, on the other hands, use name calling and belittling.
I have heard it said that when a person sees only the negatives in others it is often because that same negative is something they don’t like about themselves.
A quote from you: “If only some of these Freeper posters could objectively read what they pen!!! Sad!!!”
Since you don’t appear to be objectively reading your own posts, allow me to give you an outside observation.
You seem hateful. You are doing nothing to convince me of your position. In fact, I find your posts to be immature and not worthy of respect.
I hope this helps. Perhaps now you can take your own advice and sensor your message before you embarrass yourself and FR further.
Sincerely,
Daisy

> I will vote for Newt, unless Palin gets the nomination in the convention.
That’s my plan, too... unless someone of the caliber of Newt or Palin goes 3rd party... then that’s my solid plan.
The current GOP is a joke, and RINO Romney is the tragic punchline.

But stop telling us Republicans how bad our nominee is...this is a democracy. Actually, it's a republic.
You candidate(s) lost in the primaries and thats life. My state hasn't even had it's primary yet. I'm tired of you Northeaster people deciding who I have to vote for.
But stop telling us Republicans.... FR is a site for conservatives, NOT Republicans. Maybe you should start your own website just for Republicans if you don't like what JimRob has to say.

Vote for they guy whos speeding toward the cliff at 95 MPH instead of 100 MPH and hope I can do something with those extra few minutes of life
I appreciate your intentions, but if RINO Romney is 95% of Zer0 he can do far more damage to the country than Zer0 -- because of the R next to his name. Here's my logic, see if it resonates with you.
Why I am NEVER voting for Romney, even if he is the GOP nominee (shudder)
Many people, online and in-person, have started to shrug and say, "Oh well. Looks like Romney's gonna get the Republican nomination. I'll have to hold my nose and vote for him, like I voted for McCain.and all the other RINOs the GOP have shoved at us. After all, if he's only 80-90% like Obama then he's at least a little better than him, right?"
WRONG. and heres why.
If Myth does 90% of what Zer0 does, he will do it WITH AN R NEXT TO HIS NAME.
What does this do? Well, Republicans in Congress who would otherwise balk at lib legislation if it were proposed by Zer0 WILL SIGN ON TO THE LEGISLATION BECAUSE IT IS PROPOSED BY THE LEADER OF THE GOP.
Imagine: amnesty, tax fairness, gutting the military and so much more ALL SAILING THROUGH CONGRESS because a Republican is at the helm of America. Contrast this with a second Obozo presidency where the GOP will dig in their heels and at least try to fight.
Yeah, I said it. An Obummer presidency is better for America than a Myth presidency (in the way that a cowpie sandwich is better than a meal of broken glass).
This is why we have to have a NOT-ROMNEY at the top of the ticket if we are to have any hope of digging America out of this hole were in. And if we don't, God help us... but I still WON'T vote for him. I'll vote for whichever acceptable, conservative 3rd party candidate is running (so my protest vote will have the most impact), or I'll write one in.
As JimRob says. NO ROMNEY, NO WAY!!

>>Do y’all really believe that Mittens would nominate a Pagan or Sotomayor to the SC? I call that quit significant.
>How is it that we’re this far into the primary and you’re not aware that Mitt appointed MOSTLY hard-left liberals to the bench while he was Governor?
>The answer is yes. Mitt will appoint left-wing libs to the Supreme Court.
ALSO: he will appoint them with an R next to his name. Guaranteeing that the lib judge will sail through Congress faster than a greased pig down a waterslide.

Heres a third choice to consider: 3. Write in your choice for POTUS or leave it blank and vote straight Republican down-ticket. If we control the House and Senate, we can shut Obama down. We can hold all of his judicial appointments. We can withhold all money. We can even impeach and convict Obama and Holder for the crimes we know theyve committed. If we control both houses of Congress by a large majority, we can reverse much of what Obamas done and he cant do a damn thing to stop it. We could even pass a constitutional amendment or two and send them to the states for ratification. Thats the best case scenario we face, IMO. If Romney wins, its business as usual, especially if we control both houses. The GOP-e and RINOs will never listen to or consider conservatives again. But ... if we give them absolutely solid majorities in both houses of Congress but deny them the presidency, guess what? Theyll never ignore us again. Maybe we put them on notice with the above scenario and give them 4 years to reverse decades of big government. Thats the only way to stop Obama, RINOs, and big government all at the same time. Give it some thought. I will be.
That is RIGHT-ON! Lame duck Obama is less dangerous than Mitt Romney with a congress ready to vote for any disastrous policy coming from the White house...
all for the sake of "party unity"
To: libdestroyer
That is nonesense, newbie. Your statement is exactly what I would expect somebody supporting Obama to say.

Is the term “newbie” meant to discredit me?
Think about it...
If Obama is president and faces Republican control of the House and Senate, they are FAR less likely to vote in favor of his policies because they know they’ll catch hell from voters.
Adversely, if Mitt Romney wanted a disastrous bill (see TARP, Sarbanes-Oxley and No Child Left Behind) the Republican congress is FAR MORE LIKELY to let it pass for the sake of “party unity”
It’s simple strategy. Obama will be a lame duck!

Just look at what Obama is doing. Look at who he has appointed, look at what Eric Holder is doing, look at the attacks on states that try to prevent voter fraud, etc. When Obama is a lame duck, he will go to even greater extreme. Romney will want to be reelected and can be pressured to the right while Obama is a left fanatic. And no, I have not been a Romney supporter. At least, Romney does not hate this country.

What conservative principles? We got a guy (Obama) destroying the country every day, more & more!!! And......no one on this site or any others can ever question my conservative principles!!! I was a Barry Goldwater supporter from 1958, onward!!! And....then, a staunch supporter of Ronnie Reagan!!! And.....I don’t like Romney!!! But Romney is only a Waffler.....Obama is a nation killer!!! Romney, with all his faults loves America. Obama hates it!!! And......if Obama is re-elected, you can pack all your so-called conservative principals in your closet forever!!! End of Story!!! If you folks can’t see the forest for the trees, you are all adrift at sea!!! Sad!!! I will speak or pen no more on this subject!!! Closed minds cannot be communicated with!!!

I won’t write in Sarah either, just for the reasons you
state, although I do respect her a great deal. Newt will get my vote in the primary, and I believe the solution you have put forth is the right one for the general. I just haven’t made my final decision on the Pres. vote for Nov. other than to say I will not vote for Romney or Obama.
What would make me speechless, and prove Newt to be who he says, is if he dropped the Republican party after November and became the candidate for one of the big third parties, I would hope the Constitution Party, and then pull in someone like Sarah Palin or Alan West or Rick Perry. The country would go nuts! What an impact that would make on the election.
I would love to live through such a time as that.
Anyway, here’s praying Romney doesn’t get the delegates.

Yes, he does, especially for those who have violated our laws for a long time. That is why my choice was Santorum. Even Romney has a stronger stand against illegal aliens than Newt.
