I think that's what they would like--to remove the right of self-defense altogether. Save your life when someone is trying to kill you and you can be sentenced to life imprisonment.

If they get enough of the public to believe their version, it will be hard to find 12 genuinely unbiased jurors. If, in spite of that, Zimmerman is acquitted, riots are more likely because everyone will "know" that he is guilty.

I think you're partially right. I think they're trying to remove that right for WHITE people. However, you'll never hear one of them complaining when a black person shoots a white person who is attacking them.

Like that ever happens anyway ...
