Thank you. Yappers have been nipping at my heels all day long because as a conservative on a conservative web site, I'm saying that I'm going to vote for a conservative.

Which isn't Romney.

Listen to them and you'd think I singlehandledly am re-electing Obama.

You are breaking my heart, JR!

If Jim Robertson wants anyone who doesn't toe his line off of his forum, he can drop me a final FreepMail.

Newt was my choice and he got my vote in the NH primary. However, I will not throw away my vote on a "Conservative Party Candidate" this year to "send a message" to the GOP.

I will vote against Obama for the candidate most likely to win. I will then work for the next four years to stand-up a Conservative Party that will replace the GOP-E.

But, to not vote Obama out this year is not the way to go.

Okay Jim, I have had my say, now go ahead and throw me out. Show me that FR is as inclusive as the RAT Party.

If we, as conservatives, can't unite in our understanding that this country will not survive another four years of Obama, and that HE is our enemy because HE is EVIL, then there is no hope for America.

Collectively, my FRiend, you will indeed be re-electing Obama. I pray that reason takes over before November, and that this does not happen to the country I love so deeply.

ABO!!

Single-handedly? No, but collectively you are playing right into Obama's re-election strategy. Sometimes principles do have to be set aside, but never forgotten. Think of it this way. If you hold steadfast to your principles and the country is destroyed, you will never have a chance to get your principles in place. Now does that really make sense?

Just out of curosity, who in your opinion was the conservative in the Republican party running, after Michele Bachmann dropped out of the race? To me there really wasn't any. Rick Santorum came the closest, but I had my doubts about him too.
