The Big Lie that a third party can never win has been repeated so often that even many of an otherwise reasonable Conservative bent have fallen under its sway.

So long as people blindly accept the mantra that you have to be a Centrist and “get along” or “reach across the aisle” or buy into some amorphous qualification such as “electability” then it will become a self-fulfilling prophesy.

Four years ago we were all laughing at the notion that a blatant Communist ideologue such as The Usurper (PBUH) could capture the Democrat nomination. We assumed that his obvious racist and economic extremism would make him unpalatable to the “centrist mass” of the electorate. Just the opposite proved to be true.

You can’t put out a fire by pouring a little less gas on it than the other guy. The heart of most of America is still Conservative (although many are blissfully unaware of the ramifications of their core beliefs.)

It’s our job to wake them up, point out what’s plainly there for all to see and throw the bums out. All of them.

An alternative movement has to start somewhere. FreeRepublic is as good a place as any and far better than most.

And later is never better than ~NOW~.

Vote Newt — the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Party candidate!!!

I’m damn serious. Given that all of Team Santorum will now support Newt to help defeat Romney, we should have a real chance now,... right?! Kinda’ doubtful, because beating Romney isn’t really that important to every so-called “conservative”.
