I’m not a term-limits supporter, on the whole. I don’t care how many years someone stays in the Senate long as he doesn’t betray his principles. I someone is doing a really good job, then by all means re-elect him.
But Orrin Hatch has steadily moved left over the years. He no longer seems to have any principles. It’s not how long you’ve been there Orrin. It’s your betrayal of the base.
We probably need age limits for Senators. When these guys get 80 years of age they are NOT doing an honest day’s work.
