True, but only two killed and then the "possible suspect" wanders off at large? Jihadists usually kill as many as possible until they're stopped by a bullet.

It’s odd because a “communications facility” is usually a secure building.

Given the location and that it was Coast Guard, I'm guessing it's where they handle calls from ships/people in distress, which is not exactly national security. They do a helluva lot of rescues up in that region.

Now if it had been an Air Force "communications facility", that's a completely different story...

I should add, that had it been an Air Force “communications facility”, we probably would not have heard it referred to as that, it probably would have been referred to as just a building on a base.
