The critters have their cover. Or think they do. They all answer the questions the same ways.
Every politician - regardless of party - who was in Congress in 2008 must be voted out to correct this. The entire 2008 Congress is guilty.
Congress is now in a no win situation if the edibility issue blows up.
The will have to:
1. Admit that there is simply no formal vetting
2. Acknowledge they did nothing to stop usurpation
3. Admit that when it was brought to their attention - on numerous occasions, with more and more detail - they did nothing.
They are now having to heed Ben Franklin....
“We must all hang together, or assuredly we shall all hang separately.”
Hence why CRS keeps publishing material for them all to use. It is now their common source to deflect the issue.
