can’t speak for how things go in florida, but in georgia, all felonies go to grand jury.

if she got an arrest warrant for the charge(s), then she would’ve had to go before a judge and swear to the information in the warrant. If its found out that she “stretched”the truth to appease folks, she’s risking her career, like the moron in NC.

if zimmerman gets decent representation, this is going to take a while(suppression hearings, pre trial motions, change of venue, blah, blah, blah). and if it goes his way, it’ll cause chaos. probably, some time in mid to late october.

From what I understand from the millions of legal “analysis” who have been weighing in on this from Day 0, FLA only requires a Grand Jury for capital cases.

So long as the Death Penalty is off the table, she can proceed without the GJ.

Or that is my understanding of it...
