Santorum would be doing the same if Gingrich had dropped out.... and guess what...many on the Gingrich bandwagon would have gone, including me, because we know that we are fighting for the soul of the GOP...

Last week Santorum supporters kept saying that Gingrich supporters should abandon their guy and support the only Conservative who could still win.

Sheesh!

Anything and everything can happen in politics if you just wait long enough.

What is “low” about it? It’s a heated campaign, for goodness sakes. Of course he’d like to pick up support!

Huh? What’s Newt supposed to do? The man’s running for president, for Pete’s sake.

You bet he’s reaching out to Santorum supporters. You would be too, in his shoes.

Low? He will do whatever it takes to keep Mitt/Obama out of Our House. Weird you would consider that low.

This is a primary election, the whole point is to trade votes for the best person. We are talking about delegates here. Everyone who is not for Mitt should rally behind Newt if they feel Newt is a better option.

When the one you support drops out look to those who remain and direct your State’s delegates to pick he who is best.

No it isn’t..Santorum asked the Newt supporters to back him earlier. This is protocol

Won’t work Newtie. AFAIC You’d be even worse than Mitt. I’m sitting the rest of this race out. I’ll vote for whoever gets the nod but that’s it. I’m done.
