L.A. may have had a lot of problems but it was blessed with Vin Scully (and, yes, Jerry Dogget) and Chick Hearn.
Vin’s acceptance speech for the hall of fame was one of the most inspirational speeches of any kind I have ever heard.
Don’t forget Brooklyn and even Red Barber (although Red committed the sin of switching to the evil Yankees).
