"How will not voting for RINOmney keep Obama out of the WH?"

Ah, so many things wrong with that question, 1010rd:

1. Assumes my only legitimate choice in this is to keep Obama out of the WH.
2. Uses a category Category Mistake in its assumption.
3. The underlying assumption and logical fallacy keeps you from seeing any other strategy or motive I may have.
4. Assumes I have to be the slave of the GOPe and lose my freedom of choice.
5. Assumes my voting decisions must be driven by your fears about Obama.
6. Assumes the only way to my goal as a conservative is this single election.
7. It reduces the totality of my choices to a binary decision.
8. It overlooks the RINOmney liberal poison on the R party and his terrible history.
9. It assumes RINOmney is better somehow than Obama - despite his actual history.

It would appear that we have two different world views as conservatives. That's OK.
We will each follow our own conscience.

Your brilliance is baffling, but Romney doesn’t equal Obama and not by a long shot. There are those on FR who are actually Obama plants. They pose as conservatives while doing his dirty work. Splitting conservatives away from the GOP is one such method.

In less than 4 years Obama has made things worse than the previously worst President: Jimmy Carter. Jimmy gave away Iran. Obama is on the verge of giving away North Africa, Egypt and the ME through up to Pakistan. Obama has taken a bad idea, Homeland Security, and molded it into a political machine akin to the Gestapo in its breadth and reach. Obama has undermined our national defense at every course, harmed our military elan and readiness, drained our national coffers, limited our energy options, etc.

Don’t hide behind your alleged logic. Don’t presume AMPU, I make no assumptions. Your course is foolish and will in the end do much more harm than good. For all its faults our Constitution is great. Patrick Henry stayed home when he should have been there.

I make no category mistake, FRiend, your tagline summarized you nicely.

“Don’t hide behind your alleged logic.”

... I’m not. I answered the question that you insisted I answer. If you do not like the answer, talk to the hand.

“Don’t presume AMPU, I make no assumptions.”

... My point was that you make all kinds of assumptions. Or you are simply a one dimensional thinker. I am assuming the best of you.

“Your course is foolish”

... Your opinion - and an assumption, since you have no basis in actual RINOmney history to know anything except that he will continue on his liberal course.

“and will in the end do much more harm than good.”

... Your opinion - and an assumption, since you have no basis in actual RINOmney history to know anything except that he will continue on his liberal course.

“For all its faults our Constitution is great.”

... Ah, we agree on something!

“Aside from people who don’t really belong in the party in the first place, such as Ron Paul (Libertarian”.

If any politician in the GOP should be in another party it’s the democrat running around calling himself a republican. and I am speaking of the pro-abort, pro-homo marriage, gun-grabbing Willard the liberal.

Mark it down. If this liberal manages to buy the nomination
Sarah Palin DAMN SURE WILL NOT run around the country spouting off how great Willard the liberal is. He won’t get
10% of Tea Party votes and real conservatives will sit this one out. It will be a cold day in hell before I vote for a liberal and I don’t care what party they might belong to.

TO HELL WITH OBAMA-LIGHT ROMNEY.

John McCain REDUX. But worse.

You'd really better prepare yourself for a big letdown. Palin IS going to endorse, support and campaign for Willard. It is going to happen. All the big name Republicans will do the same. Sarah will almost certainly focus more on how bad Obama is than singing Mitt's praises, but she will speak very highly of him at campaign events all through the Fall. She has been very clear that she is ABO and she WILL support Romney. That's just the facts.

I guarantee you that Sarah Palin will never get on national TV and support Mitt Romney. She’ll do everything she can to elect republicans to the House and Senate but she will not go out of her way singing the praises of Romney. No way in the world. If she does she’s dead as any leader of the Tea Party.
And I don’t think the woman is a hypocrite. She has had every chance in the world to say good things about Romney in the last six months and has took a pass. She does not need to bow down to Romney for a cabinet position. He’s not going to win and she knows it.

None of the candidates can eloquate capitalism better than he.

Obama was a smooth talker too but he turned out to be a marxist.... Romney has a history of being a liberal s.o.b.

I will do nothing to enable four more years of Obama. We must get the correct House and Senate in office in any case...if we do that and elect Romney, things will turn around because the new Congress will enure that Romney is given the legislation to fulfill his promises.

Whatever else Romney is, he is clearly a politician and this is the chance for the pinnacle of his career. He is not an ideolog and he will not throw away a chance at eight years by betraying those who get him into office and ensure he makes good on his promises. To do do would be political suicide.

So, as much as I had hoped another would win...and there’s still an outside chance for that...I’ll vote for Romney over the clear Marxist Obama

If Romney does go forward and win the nomination now, let’s see who his VP pick is too.

Romney was elected in a DNC dominated state, Mass. It is really more MassCare than RomneyCare IMHO. He had to run center...and I believe the plan would have been even worse without him there. Study his vetoes sometime...it tells you something about him too. Most of them were over ridden by an 85% controlled state house.

I do not like his changes on critical issues any more than anyone else...but there is something there a proper house and senate can use that would be orders of magnitude better than Obams.

This is a decision that every person must make and it is very personal and varied...but I honestly believe I must oppose Obama, even with Romney, for the sake of my eight grandkids and their future.

After outspending him in every state with attack ads, now he wants to congratulate him? Shut the hell up, Mitt. The worst thing is that we’re stuck with either him or Obama.
