Can’t really blame Whitney or any other dead celebrity when funerals have to be policed like this.
Unfortunately, since about the 1950s or so, celebrity fans have behaved like hysterical, screaming animals in the presence of their idols, in need of physical restraint. It isn’t the celebrities’ fault that people are like this now, its just the way things are these days. Decorum and self-restraint are not prized virtues any more...
