If you notice....there’s almost no music now for half of the twenty-four hour period that M-TV is on the air. So it’s not really selling music anymore...just some whacked up culture. You could probably do a reality TV series....pretending to be M-TV, and get more of a audience than M-TV actually pulls itself.

I don't watch MTV, won't have cable .... but yes, the addition of Savage (thanks, mkjessup and Stepan12, now I remember who he is!) does suggest that MTV's basic concept is now at sea and taking on water.
