But your hard core Commie - they HATE Darwin - his theory smacked WAY too much of capitalism with its rewards for individual excellence in free competition.

Your basic hard core Commie - they reject Darwin in favor of a Lamarkian mechanism - where people striving and suffering under Communism shape the next generation to be ‘Homo Communista’ - the new Communist man - who doesn't desire to have a better looking wife and a nicer home than his fellow men. But the big problem with a Lamarkian mechanism is that, much like Communism, it doesn't work.
