What is the point of the post? The GOP candidate sounds like FR's kind of congressman.
Why do you use the words of the left?
“My former congressman, a fiscal conservative / social moderate republican”
Almost all politicians, even the most irresponsible big spenders, like to brag about how they are “fiscal conservatives”.
In most cases it is a lie. Ask yourself these questions. With so many “fiscal conservatives” in Washington why is spending so out of control? Why is our country running unsustainable multitrillion dollar deficits? Why is our credit rating downgraded? Why can’t they even pass a budget?
The fact is “social moderate and fiscal conservative” is a dishonest description. It means big spending coward in Washington, liar before the voters.
