There are apparently few people less “peaceful” than “peace activists”;)

Another EPIC FAIL for the Al Qaeda-loving, flippin’ hippies. It’s going to take a lot of recreational drugs and “free love” for them to get over this one.

"We detained 483 people for questioning..."

Questioning? What might they know that's worth asking about?

Citizen's Action for Peace, (CAP), is the successor to, or perhaps the continuation of, the Redlands Peace Group, which began in 1980. CAP began in September of 2002 in response to the buildup to the war in Iraq. CAP works toward the realization of a more equitable, democratic, and safer world through nonviolent political and social action. CAP is not officially affiliated with any national or international organization although communication and cooperative action with many other groups whose goals and beliefs are similar is a frequent occurrence. CAP is funded entirely through individual donations. These are not tax deductible as that status limits the kinds of political actions in which a group may become involved.

WHAT DO WE STAND FOR?

We believe in the power of non-violence.
We believe that war is not a legitamate toool for achieving political goals.
We believe that dissent is often the most American and most patriotic act a citizen may perform.
We work for justice for all people; politically and economically, both at home and abroad.
We strive for a cleaner and more sustainable environment for ourselves and our prosperity.
We seek to educate ourselves and our community about the vital issues of these challenging times.

Apparently not believing spell check is a legitimate tool, either.

Looks like Godfather Emmanuel can protect the elites in the city, but when it comes to protecting black people who live there, he isn’t doing so hot: murder is up 56% in Chicago this year.
