They probably hired former congressman Anthony Weiner as Splitzer’s backup. ROTFLMAO!!!!

“There are at least 4 other threads about this...”
Yes, and I’ve enjoyed each and every one of them.

Ask a lefty why there was a need for Current and they'll say because most of the news media is dominated by far right wing fascist Nazi Rethuglican propaganda and Current is the only home for the true progressive!

I loved the way Dandy Don play Cosell like a fiddle. If only Dandy Don and Olberman could have done a broadcast together, it would have been priceless.

So that's what "Current TV" is.
Since getting DirectTV late last year I've noticed three explicitly left wing "news" channels as opposed to no explicitly right wing news channels. Oddly enough, they are for the most part interspersed among the religious channels, I suppose because for the Left their politics is a religion.
Aside from "Current" there's "Free Speech TV" (quite a name for the representative of a movement that believes only one side in the debate is entitled to "free speech"). There's a third whose name I can't remember at the moment.
Why isn't there a conservative news channel? And I don't mean Fox!

“For all of you out there who have legitimately posed the painfully obvious question as to the value to the posting of this article, the answer is while I don't give the newsworthy aspect of the article much more than a rodent's rear-end, there was a certain emotional satisfaction of posting a Keith Olbermann career eulogy a la Dan Rather.I simply could not resist.”
And, I can't resist reading every thread on this. Kind of like a weekend brunch. Bring on the tasty drinks - you know the one - champagne & orange juice. Hold the umbrellas, please. They take up too much space.

“Ive always felt a little pity for Keith Olbermann... I do not watch his show. Sadly, for Mr. Olbermann he CANT turn off Keith Olbermann... he must live with his miseable self each day... what a ghastly thought! I would be angry all the time too if I had to be Keith Olbermann!”
A Brilliant thought, FiddlePig!
Keith Olberman for the day = Serious Issues for the day.
