............ “Now, the former House speaker is trying to figure a way around RNC rules that require a candidate to place first in at least five states during the primary process in order for that candidate’s name to be placed into nomination at the party convention.

Gingrich has won only two states so far — South Carolina and Georgia. But his campaign may seek to make the case that the rule refers to the delegate race, not the popular vote, and then try to win the backing of a plurality of delegates in at least five states before the convention convenes in August.”

Romney is a schmuck. Who cares if he’s at the debate ...I’m not interested in him as a candidate. I want to hear what the REAL conservatives have to say, so it’s fine by me.

Let him stay up northeast with his librepublican friends and keep winning his “liberal” states.

I think Newt plans for months well at least since Super Tuesday is to prevent Mittens from getting the 1144 delegates on the first three ballots in Tampa.

Then All delegates are released to vote their conscience or pocketbook. Bet there will be huge amounts of Horsetrading for those delegates.

Course at this point with the lack of enthusiasm in the four candidate I expect a new name to be on the ticket.
