It’s amazing how many people on this board are suddenly going wobbly for Romney, ain’t it, especially after all the documented damage his minions have done to Conservatives in general, and Sarah Palin in particular, since 2008?

Let's face it - there will always be people, even a lot here on FR - who would rather crouch, lick hands, and hope for comfortable chains than to rock the boat by trying to do something about the problems we face.

There are a lot of republicans on here. I am not a republican and I will not be voting for Romney. Yes, I understand the consequences.

I’m far more amazed that people on this board have gone wobbly for Santorum. The guy is basically the living embodiment of the Republican Leadership for the last 20 years, with the exception of his strong pro life stands. How in the world did he go from former generic senate Republican, to Tea Party hero in 4-5 months? This is the guy conservatives bailed on after Medicare Part D and the Specter/Toomey debacle. I find it amazing that people are treating Santorum as if he’s our only hope to stop the Republican establishment from doing that types of things he supported when he was part of the Republican establishment.

I get why people don’t like Romney. I just don’t understand why they thick Santorum is a solution. I’d have voted for Gingrich, Cain, Perry and Bachmann over either Santorum or Romney, but I’m ambivalent as between the two of them. I can see why people would just pick the one that they believe more likely to win.

good points. Exactly right. mitt will NEVER get my vote. It's astounding how people actually believe mitt would be better than Obama. They haven't a clue.

As for Ryan, I was criticized when I slammed him some months back as not being a true Conservative. The guy voted for Medicare Part-D, No Child Left behind, corn subsidies, etc.

Ryan is above all a technocrat. In no way does he hold dear principles in the way our Founders or Reagan held them. No endorsement will sway me.

I am at total peace knowing that the slimy, evil, elitist, Conservative hate mitt will NEVER get my vote. He is as big a fraud as Obama.
