Early frontrunner for the most preposterous political analogy of the year . . .
On today's Morning Joe, Tina Brown said Rick Santorum was "like Judas Iscariot." And just what was Santorum's sin that merited comparing him to the man who betrayed Jesus Christ for thirty pieces of silver? That Santorum, 15 years after the fact, now regrets having supported Arlen Specter when his then-fellow Republican senator from Pennsylvania ran for president.

Asinine analogy ping to Today show list.
Tina Brown should stick to what she does best, which is......?
At least Newton Gingrich has won two states; Specter won none. Now Newton is bypassing the rest of the primaries to prepare for Tampa where they say a speech will stampede the delegates to him as the earlier generation flirted with Willkie in 1940.
Specter is Judas not Santorum.
Drive sickly MSM publications into their final death throes: The New Yorker, TALK, Newsweek....
Jeez, Tina, to successfully utilize Godwin’s Law, you must compare Santorum to HITLER, not ISCARIOT.

lol and ????
A pig. "Four legs good, two legs bad."
Actually, Santorum *is* Judas for supporting the Spincter over Toomey in 2006.
Good point.
“Santorum, 15 years after the fact, now regrets having supported Arlen Specter when his then-fellow Republican senator from Pennsylvania ran for president.”
Considering Spectre has since switched parties and votes for things Republicans hate most, such as the stimulus and Obamacare, I hardly think it’s a fitting analogy. That would be as we still demonized Judas if he turned him in after Jesus said at the last supper, “Know what, I’m sick of this Messiah thing; I’m gonna go ahead and fight with the Antichrist from now on. See ya later, suckers.”
