I saw this movie last weekend.
It is must see movie that will bring tears to all but the most hardened of hearts eyes.
It is a movie destined to change many people for the better who see it.
I beg all who read this to go see the movie and spread the word.
It is really that good!
I saw this movie Sat. night, and it was a good film. I recommend it to all.
My husband and I saw this movie Sat. night with friends. Our local paper (leftist) had given it a sour review, but we found the movie to be terrific and give it 4 thumbs up.
The movie is about the survivor of an attempted abortion who finds out that she is adopted, an abortion survivor, and had a twin brother who did not survive — all in one accidental disclosure. Rather than being a downer, the rest of the movie is how this angry teen is treated with love, respect, and kindness by parents, peers, and strangers as she seeks her birth mother and seeks to discovedr who she really is. There are many twists and turns in the plot, but it is well done. And, there are no steamy sex scenes and no bad language. This is family fare, as long as the kids (teen and above) already know about abortion.
It is the antithesis of The Hunger Game where the teens are forced to kill each other.
“The film fared poorly with critics, scoring a 23% favorable rating on Rotten Tomatoes”.... I need to ignore film critics..
moral absolutes ping?
I’m there.
Excessive Violence, Graphic Violence, Graphic Sex, Foul Language, Nudity, poor plots...
So this film probably has very little of that!
Two very low budget movies I liked were: Bella and The Mighty Macs. Neither of those flicks had much of anything objectionable, though there was one scene in Mighty Macs I found hard to believe.
The worst of Bella was the waitress being fired for being late the 3rd time.
Compare that with your typical bloody/sexy/foul mouthed Hollywood film of today.
The closest movie theater to me, showing this movie, is over an hour away, but I intend to see it.
We need to support this kind of movie, if possible.

As compared to audience reactions on Rotten Tomatoes, which are over 94% freshness.
The IMDB rating is still stuck on 4.3. There are only 620 total votes; so it wouldn’t take too many higher votes to change the rating.
Ratings on IMDB are important to movie fans. They’re one of the ways that “buzz” is built for a movie.
Everyone who cares about this should be encouraged to vote (or register and vote, if need be). Let them know that a “10” vote is heavily discounted — better to vote “7”, “8” or “9”.
When I voted it was 620. After I voted, it was 620.
And yes, I was even signed in. ;)
You’re not going to see those numbers change, even if 100 FReepers voted.
There is a time lag, before votes show up. Still — I take your point. I do suspect that the IMDB staff is showing their bias here.
I saw this movie yesterday in Destin, Fl.
It was beautifully made, music good and the characters were movingly believable. The story line kept you guessing.
The acting was great. The story makes you think and glad you could finally understand so many hidden truths.
Please go and thank the theaters you see it in for showing it.

Have seen this multiple times now due to being invited to the sneak preview and having taken family members and friends. Even after the multiple viewings, I have still enjoyed it.
When it comes out on DVD, I will definitely purchase multiple copies of it.
It’s a movie I can endorse since it’s devoid of foul language and other unsavory elements. In addition it conveys a message of love and forgiveness. I thought it was beautifully filmed as well.
I know some people who didn’t know much about the term “abortion survivor” and spent several hours on the internet learning about people like Gianna Jessen and Melissa Ohden (who has now started a network of other survivors). So this film will also arouse awareness of a subject little known or discussed.
For those who haven’t seen it yet, stick around for the credits as one of the actors shares a testimony.
Like the movie “Bella”, this film has the power to change some minds of people considering abortion.
The acting was great, as you mentioned. My family and I thought Jason Burkey was just outstanding in his role.
